D C Poulton & Sons Funeral Directors in Essex are honoured serve families from our funeral home in Epping.
After nearly a century of helping people, our caring team still carries the same values it always has, set by our founders many generations ago. We keep trust, honesty, respect and compassion at the heart of all we do, tailoring every detail of our service to meet the needs and wishes of the families in our care.
Something we have always cared deeply about is the local community we are part of. From bereavement groups to coffee mornings, through to workshops on funeral myth busters to raising funeral plan awareness, we are always trying to help people even if they are not in our care at that precise time.
We have also supported our local care home by providing assistance and transport to local shows, and we regularly provide raffle prizes for charity events. At Christmas, we support the local church in Epping with a Christmas Tree, donations and decorations, and we hold memorial evenings attended by local clergy and celebrants who share thoughts and memories over mince pies, cakes, mulled wine, tea and coffee.
We are privileged to be able to cater for funerals of all faiths, cultures and personal preferences. We have a funeral manager who has a wealth of knowledge of the practises and traditions of many religions, with a particular specialism in Sikh funerals. We are conveniently located centrally to our local churches, the Sri Guru Singh Gurdwara and North Hertfordshire Memorial Park and Crematorium.
