Wow what a service, from the first phone call Stuart was so helpful. I received a call every day checking in to make sure all the family were ok at this sad time. Stuart went through everything with empathy and care, I spoke with Kevin too when Stuart wasn’t available and again he was so helpful. On the day of the service they arrived and Stuart explained everything that would happen through out the service. Sarah the humanist was great as well, she spoke of our auntie beautifully. This is the second time we have used Derek Moss Funeral Directors and will definitely use them again. Thank you for looking after our loved one on her last journey.

An absolutely tremendous service provided by Derek Moss Funeral Directors. From the moment contact was made when my mam passed away to the aftercare after the funeral everything we were told would happen did. Contact was regular and updates plentyful. Everything was made so much easier for me and my family. Particular thanks goes to Stuart Tait who handled the arrangements from start to finish what a diamond. Special thanks also to Anne and Carole in the office and all the other staff who were there at the funeral. You made a difficult day so much easier with all your guidance and help. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is the second time we have used Derek Moss, the first time for our Dad in 2011 & so they were the first choice for our family when our Mam recently passed away.
I cannot praise Kevin Taylor & his team enough for the standard of service provided to my Mam & our family. The funeral was perfect for us & we all felt that Mam would have been very pleased.
When Kevin met our family to discuss arrangements he kept the tone light and practical which was just what we needed at that time. He guided us through our choices, showing real interest in our family dynamics and what was important to us.
Throughout the process we were kept informed of progress, any timeline requirements or changes in events for all aspects of the arrangements - venues, minister, music, order of service etc. and we were also given the opportunity to proof read and revise to ensure details were correct.
Kevin also ensured we were able to arrange specific wishes such as the flowers to be placed on my Dad's grave after my Mam's crematorium service.
On the day of the funeral all of the team were respectful, courteous & smartly dressed. Kevin had explained to us exactly how the day would progress so we were well prepared & everything followed the plan perfectly.
All in all, we gave Mam the bespoke funeral she would have wished for & have no hesitation in recommending Derek Moss to other families in need of their services.
