Ian at Frank Stephenson & Son helped my mother and I organise my father's funeral. His sensitivity and caring nature is an absolute credit to both him and the team, it was very comforting to feel helped through the process by him from the very beginning. Also, dealing with just one person whether via phone, e-mail or in person was very reassuring. The funeral went completely as planned with all the small personalisations we worked on together with Ian in place. A really solid choice if you are local to them.

Ian,

It may never have been said but if Carlsberg did funerals….

From the day Ja called round several funeral directors and said ‘I’ve found the one’ to the service today, you have been outstanding. The care, love and attention to detail you have shown from start to finish has been so good, you enabled us to do mum proud. We wanted today to be about the remarkable woman she was and you helped us fulfil that.

Thank you. I wanted people to enjoy today and they did. Thanks to you.

Thank you.

Warm wishes.

Ian and his team were supportive throughout, Ian asked all the right questions to ensure he had a full picture of my wife and her wishes. The care afforded to my wife was excellent, she was prepared exactly as she should have been including her hair and makeup. The funeral service provided by Ian and the Celebrant chosen (Sophie Urqhart) was described by many as a “beautiful service”. I will not need to use the services of Stephensons again until I’m the deceased but at that point I will be pleased to be the in their care.
