You don't have to make an appointment at our funeral homes. However, doing so will ensure that someone can be available to cater to your needs. When arranging a funeral, our Funeral Directors are happy to visit you in your own home, if required.
Third party funeral costs are additional charges which we will manage for you and attach to your single invoice. Get in touch with us to confirm costs and plan a funeral to fit your budget.
If you choose to arrange the funeral with us, you will be given the option of a complimentary Funeral Notice. We will set it up for you using the details discussed during the arrangements. All we need is an email address.
Dignity Funeral Plans let you pay for your funeral in advance and at today's price. It's a way of taking control of the unexpected, setting out the arrangements and limiting the costs by paying for the services included in the funeral plan upfront.
Reviews of our services
We met with Claire who was very sympathetic to our loss. She was patient, kind, caring, professional and realistic which we appreciated. Funerals aren’t cheap! And you don’t want to feel like you are not giving your loved one the best but Claire knew there was a budget and helped us to stick to it.
After our initial meeting Claire called a couple of days later to see how we were all doing which we thought was a lovely touch.
I took the responsibility of organising the funeral and was the client but the week of the funeral the manager contacted me to come over to meet my mother in law so that she would know who was coming on the day, reassure us as to what would happen and it was nice to know who would be taking care of Jim- another lovely touch.
My only niggle would be not knowing where Jim was. I was told that I would get a phone call when he had been taken into Tanners care. I didn’t get a call and thankfully everyone felt they had said their goodbyes so we didn’t need to see Jim but it was in the back of my mind. I also requested a newspaper obituary and had to chase for the proof to be sent over. Once I had made that call and asked where it was I was reassure it was an accidental oversight and it was rushed through and put in with ample time.
From initial contact with the Dignity call centre to paying the bill I was treated professionally and with sympathy and respect. Jim was a true gentleman. Considerate and kind with the patience of a saint and with the assistance of Claire and the team at Tanners he had the send off he deserved. For that, we will always be grateful.
