Francis Chappell & Sons Funeral Directors, Sevenoaks
About our Sevenoaks funeral home
Founded by John Chappell in 1840, the experience passed down from one generation to the next allows us to offer you the highest standard of funeral care and support. Our team of funeral directors will help to ease any concerns or uncertainties you may have, while working to ensure your loved one’s farewell is a fitting reflection of their life.
Rest assured, you can put your trust in the knowledge and professionalism our longstanding position in the community has given us, along with the kindness our team offers from the moment you first call, to the funeral and beyond.
Our Sevenoaks funeral home can be found on the London Road and it has a welcoming arrangement room that includes a fireplace and oak beams. It is decorated in warm autumnal colours to help you feel comfortable and at ease when you visit. We also have a chapel of rest, where you can spend time with your loved one in a private environment, which we can open outside normal hours to suit you and your family.
The Sevenoaks location of our funeral directors means we are also able to provide our services to the surrounding Kent communities, including Edenbridge, Dunton Green, Kemsing and Seal.
In 2015, we were honoured to have reached the milestone of 175 years spent aiding the families here in Kent. We would be equally honoured to help you and yours.
We are available 24 hours to listen and talk. To arrange the funeral of your loved one, contact us today.

Reviews of our services
Throughout the whole process Jennifer was thoughtful and considerate. Kerry, our funeral director, explained exactly what was going to happen on the day in a very caring and sympathetic manner.
On the day Kerry was always in attendance looking after us. Louise, our civil celebrant, was wonderful. A number of attendees thought she had known my wife from the way she delivered the eulogy.
