  • You don't have to make an appointment at our funeral homes. However, doing so will ensure that someone can be available to cater to your needs. When arranging a funeral, our Funeral Directors are happy to visit you in your own home, if required.


  • Third party funeral costs are additional charges which we will manage for you and attach to your single invoice. Get in touch with us to confirm costs and plan a funeral to fit your budget.


  • If you choose to arrange the funeral with us, you will be given the option of a complimentary Funeral Notice. We will set it up for you using the details discussed during the arrangements. All we need is an email address.


  • Dignity Funeral Plans let you pay for your funeral in advance and at today's price. It's a way of taking control of the unexpected, setting out the arrangements and limiting the costs by paying for the services included in the funeral plan upfront.

Because my Mum was adamant that she did not want a service at her cremation, we presumed that the whole affair would be cold and impersonal. How wrong could we be. The wonderful staff at Maskell & Uden gave this amazing 90 year old the send off she deserved but without the fuss that she would have hated. The lovely Lady who accompanied Mum on her final journey played her part in a co-ordinated music performance right through this Country and the World. Thankyou so much for making Mum's day so special with no fuss.

In very difficult circumstances we couldn’t have wished for better support and guidance than from the team at Maskell and Uden. Muskell & Uden gave us support all the way through arranging my Dad's funeral. Especially the unexpected calls from Debbie just to see how I was, so caring. A really difficult time was made so much easier with the support we received. Lorraine helped us choose our Dad's final journey route and she also was so kind and helpful.

They were very supportive and caring with my mother in law and the family. The funeral was excellent in the current way things have to be done, all mourners told me how nice it was. As I was the one doing all the arranging I felt there was nothing I couldn't ask them. Debbie at Westgate was very professional and gave me great help. The service provided by the team at Westgate earned the full 5 stars. The initial contact was both sensitive and informative, ensuring that we had a clear understanding of the necessary arrangements. Support for every element of the funeral was either provided or, where optional, offered allowing us to have the Service that we wanted. The team took care of all of the administration, very helpfully pre-completing various forms and helping us to fill in any missing details. The introduction to the Officiant and the Director of the funeral was made early on to allow unrushed, yet timely, progress towards the delivery of a lovely Service for our Mum. Thank you.

As most people who use maskell and uden,our family were unfamiliar with the process one has to enter on the death of a loved one. From the first call to Debbie at Westgate, we were treated with professionalism and kindness. The first face to face meeting with Debbie could not have been more appropriate. She was patient,kind and informative. Before the service, we asked for a personalized order of service which included letters from two of my siblings who could not attend due to the Corona virus. This was arranged and the end result was exactly what the widow asked for. A meeting was arranged with Jason who was to lead the Christian service. He was also very kind. The service involved Lorraine and her colleagues and was without fault. Thanks to all involved. We would highly recommend the company.

I can't thank Debbie in the office enough for how she guided me through what was the worst time in my life. She helped me with patience and kindness and I was very pleased with everything - the Flowers, Coffin and Service book etc.
The Celebrant Kate was wonderful and felt like a friend I had known all my life. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to take the Service.
On the day it ran smoothly and I did him proud.
I would like to thank everyone who helped me give the most wonderful Man the best send off I could.
