John Garside & Son Funeral Directors, Biddulph
About our Biddulph funeral home
Our duty is to treat everyone in our care with compassion and dignity; the same way we would treat our own family members. We have expertise in all types of funerals; whether your preference is a religious, traditional or contemporary ceremony, we can cater to your needs.
We understand no two people are the same and funerals should be no different, which is why you can have full control over every aspect of your loved one’s farewell. Our responsibility is to ensure the day reflects the way your loved one lived their life, creating a lasting memory for you, your family and friends.
For over 150 years, we have been serving the local communities of Timbersbrook, Biddulph Moor, Gillow Heath, Mow Cop, Harriseahead, Packmoor, Brown Edge and Congleton from our other funeral home.
We offer both attended funerals, with a service that you, family and friends, can attend to say goodbye, and an unattended funeral, which is a simpler funeral that has no attendance or service. The wellbeing of you and your family is of the utmost importance to us at John Garside & Son, so please call us at any time of the day or night, and we will be here to help.

Reviews of our services
The service they provided was efficient, whilst maintaining the personal touch.
Sandra Foulkes who arranged and organised mum funeral with us went above and beyond for us nothing was to much trouble for her no matter how many times we rang to change this or that or to add this or that she could not help us enough.
Sandra made one of the most emotional and difficult times for us a Joy, a celebration of our mum. Mum's funeral and especially her service book was commented on by those who attended as one of the loveliest ones they had been to and seen. Susie Poppet who read mums eulogy did so with so much love and care that she brought it to life. We cannot thank John Garside enough for their care, understanding and professionalism they showed our mum and our family during this difficult time.
The chapel of rest is not the easiest place to visit but they made it easy for us giving us all the time we needed even late in the day. Nothing was too much trouble.
Thank you to all the staff at Dignity ( John Garside Funeral Directors)
Nothing was too much trouble, they were so caring and made sure everything went smoothly. I can honestly say that I don’t know what I would of done without them and I can’t thank them enough. They are wonderful.
