Frequently asked questions
When someone dies, the first steps will depend on how and where the person passed away. Our step-by-step guides will walk you through the practical steps. For additional support and personal advice, please get in touch with us.
You don't have to make an appointment at our funeral homes. However, doing so will ensure that someone can be available to cater to your needs. When arranging a funeral, our Funeral Directors are happy to visit you in your own home, if required.
Third party funeral costs are additional charges which we will manage for you and attach to your single invoice. Get in touch with us to confirm costs and plan a funeral to fit your budget.
If you choose to arrange the funeral with us, you will be given the option of a complimentary Funeral Notice. We will set it up for you using the details discussed during the arrangements. All we need is an email address.
Dignity Funeral Plans let you pay for your funeral in advance and at today's price. It's a way of taking control of the unexpected, setting out the arrangements and limiting the costs by paying for the services included in the funeral plan upfront.
Reviews of our services
Many thanks to all concerned.
I would like to thank Susie for all the information, help and guidance given to us
In our time of grief.
Every aspect of the funeral went as planned including colour of vehicles, and other
Actions which my late wife had requested.
The celebrant recommended to us was exceptional.
Communication was good and nothing was too much trouble.
On the day of the funeral all staff acted extremely professional.
Just one point I would make is that on a hot day, consideration to get the aircon on in the limo earlier would have been better, as the temperature in the vehicle was like an oven.
Secondly, on the invoice it would be better if a breakdown of "Our Service to You" showed individual items as £1,320 is a considerable sum and needs explaining.
Overall, I would highly commend Brown, Fenn & Parker for their very close attention and support.
We were glad to be able to return to this firm, since they had handled a previous family funeral very professionally.
Absolutely first class in every way
Caring, compassionate and professional.
Made a difficult time more bearable by sharing it with us.
