  • You don't have to make an appointment at our funeral homes. However, doing so will ensure that someone can be available to cater to your needs. When arranging a funeral, our Funeral Directors are happy to visit you in your own home, if required.


  • Third party funeral costs are additional charges which we will manage for you and attach to your single invoice. Get in touch with us to confirm costs and plan a funeral to fit your budget.


  • If you choose to arrange the funeral with us, you will be given the option of a complimentary Funeral Notice. We will set it up for you using the details discussed during the arrangements. All we need is an email address.


  • Dignity Funeral Plans let you pay for your funeral in advance and at today's price. It's a way of taking control of the unexpected, setting out the arrangements and limiting the costs by paying for the services included in the funeral plan upfront.

H. Eaton & Son provided an excellent personal and professional service and made the process of organising our father's funeral easy and painless. They have consistently provided our family with excellent service over the years and it is with much thanks to Shirley, Lara and Chris for again stepping up to the mark again more recently. There were many praised comments following the funeral service and tea which is testament to the team at Eaton's and the service they provide.

From first contact with Shirley I can only praise Shirley and the whole team for there advise and support with the very unexpected death of our relative. In the run up to the funeral, Louise was professional, kind and considerate with exemplary attention to detail.Nothing was too much trouble. On the day, Chris and the team were professional and supportive on the day.The weather was foul and the traffic was extremely busy being the Friday before Christmas. I would not hesitate to recommend Eatons in the future.

Chris and the team were amazing. They made a very stressful and upsetting time, calm. They fully supported the family, ringing just to check on us- a practice that has continued after the funeral.
Their thoughtfulness was second to none, they take all the stress away, they found the perfect celebrant who was just wonderful. They treated my father with the upmost respect.

Excellent service from start to finish with Chris and Angie from H Eatons for my mother’s recent funeral and I would recommend to all. From the start, they were sympathetic and open/ friendly yet professional. Chris suggested Skipton crematorium which I had not considered. It was ideal, enabling many who could not attend in person to watch via a webcast and was much nicer than many other crematoria. Chris was clear and helpful in guiding me through the process, listened to my wishes and I felt valued as a customer of H Eatons. It was easy to contact wither Chris or Angie - they would return my calls promptly if not immediately available.
It significantly helped ease the process of what is usually a sad occasion. Thoroughly recommend H Eatons.

Everything was arranged with such care, consideration and compassion, right down to the very last detail. I definitely felt that Mum was in the best hands.
When we saw her in the Chapel of Rest she looked lovely and that is a memory I will treasure.
Although it was a " lockdown" funeral it was beautiful. The suggestion have the longer part of it at Skipton crematorium was inspired. Mum would always have wanted a church service first, but I'm sure she would have loved the way it was done. We have had very positive feedback about the Live Stream too.
The care, both during and after by Chris was outstanding.

During these difficult sad times, the service we received from the funeral director and his secretary, really eased my anxiety and uncertainty.
They were very easy to talk to, helpful and understanding.
The celebrant provided was just perfect, and everything for mums funeral went to plan on the day, I had no worries at all.

Chris is a friend of the family and obviously saw maria in better times .
Nothing was too much and the careful way he dealt with the information needed and help with registering the death and advice as tell once to inform agencies was very welcome , his attention to every detail was outstanding.
The organisation from church to cars flowers and filming the commemoration ,so relatives abroad could view was also appreciated ..Heatons did a fantastic service to us all and created a lovely service for my wife as well as could have been expected.
