Our prices include all the essentials
The prices you see on each branch's Price List are our lowest for each type of funeral. They include caring for the person who's died, a simple coffin, and the cremation or burial. We don't charge for the little touches like placing a rose on the coffin or playing music.
What affects the cost?
You can choose to add a personal touch, such as a unique coffin, flowers, your choice of transport, a printed order of service or a memorial. There might be additional costs depending on the type of funeral you choose, or what you require. The staff at Lazenby and Scorah were so kind and helpful after my husband passed away. Mary and Bernardine kept me informed at every step. I was able to see my husband at the funeral home in a quiet area where I could say my last goodbye.
The funeral was booked - church, vicar, graveyard; funeral notices in the local paper , and service booklet. Nothing was too much trouble.
On the day of the funeral the staff were very formal and respectful. All in all I felt my husband had the funeral he deserved. And I was treated with such kindness; I’ll never forget. Thank you so much.
