Reviews of our services
The only down spot was we were unable to see mother in the parlour. l know l was told that was because of Covid regulations. However l feel more could have been done to allow us to see her for the last time. Apart from that, l would have given 5 star, but l was happy with the Funeral Directors.
I would highly recommend this firm going forward to my friends and family. Thank you for the support and kindness shown
I could not fault any aspect of the service provided, I intend to sign up for my own funeral by taking out the same plan my dad had with them.
I really can't commend the staff at James Scott in Portobello High Street, Edinburgh, highly enough for their efficieny, compassion and care when they looked after us for my brother's recent funeral. The office staff responded promptly to all our questions, giving us time to consider what we wanted and to think about any suggestions they made. My mother and I were kept well-informed about everything we needed to do and everything that was available to us. On the day of the funeral, The staff in attendance were compassionate, respectful and patient, and the funeral itself went as smoothly as we could ever have hoped.
Nobody wants to have to arrange a funeral, but this was really the best service we could have asked for in the sad circumstances we found ourselves in.
Thank you all very much. The job you do is so important and you do it extremely well.
nothing was any trouble and anything we wanted added was done for us.
i would say the standard of service was exelent considering the times we are living in.
I would like to thank everyone we dealt with very much for there great service.
