William Scott Funeral Directors have supported the local community of Falkirk since opening in the town centre in the 1930s. We moved to our current funeral home in the 1950s and have continued to provide funeral care with kindness, compassion and respect ever since.
Our funeral home is a large Victorian house with extensive gardens. Inside, our service room can accommodate up to 68 people with additional room for standing, and we have facilities for music and organ to be played.
We know that losing a loved one can be difficult, which is why we promise to do everything we can to make things a little bit easier for you and your family. You can reach us by telephone 24 hours a day, so we will never be more than a phone call away.
We are proud to be part of Dignity Funerals, a collection of the UKs finest funeral directors, with each and every one committed to setting superior standards.
Many Dignity funeral directors have been part of the local community for generations and it is a privilege to serve those who live beside us. Our rich and lengthy heritage ensures we can deliver our service with local knowledge and unparalleled expertise.
With three different packages available, you can rest assured that we'll be able to arrange the funeral you have in mind for your loved one. Learn more about our Attended Funeral, Parlour Service and Unattended Funeral below.
View our Standardised Price List, Additional Options Price List and Crematoria Price List.
Our Attended Funeral includes care of your loved one, a Park Coffin, a service at the place of committal which can be personalised as required for your loved one, followed by a burial or cremation.
Our Parlour Service provides a cremation funeral and the use of our specialist service venue, before an unattended cremation takes place at our selected crematorium.
The service venue offers a peaceful and fitting environment in which to celebrate the life of your loved one among family and friends. Once the ceremony is over, the cremation takes place without mourners, carried out with the utmost care and supervised by an experienced attendant.
Our Unattended Funeral will best suit your needs if you want to arrange a simple and straightforward cremation without a service or ceremony, allowing you and your loved one's friends and family to commemorate them in your own way.
Choose from a variety of options, including headstones and urns to memorial plaques, vases, statues, jewellery and plenty more. With a Memorial, you can create a tribute that especially reflects the life, love and cherished memories of your loved one.

Very courteous, very professional and supportive.
All staff were there to assist, offer support and advise on issues not encountered before, and taken out of our hands which is exactly what was required at the time.
We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience online with us. It helps other families in their time of need and makes a difficult time seem a little easier.
William Scott provided all the arrangements for my father’s funeral in July and I absolutely have no hesitation in recommending the company. From initial contact up to and including the day of his funeral they were most helpful, accommodating, supportive and compassionate. Nothing was too difficult for them and the attention to detail was to be commended.
A relative mentioned that they had attended another funeral just after my father’s and the difference in professional standards was very apparent. A testament to every member of staff at William Scott.
