How do funeral costs vary?

The cost of a funeral depends on what you need. We'll help you understand everything, so you can plan without any surprises.

Our prices include all the essentials

The prices you see on each branch's Price List are our lowest for each type of funeral. They include caring for the person who's died, a simple coffin, and the cremation or burial. We don't charge for the little touches like placing a rose on the coffin or playing music.

What affects the cost?

You can choose to add a personal touch, such as a unique coffin, flowers, your choice of transport, a printed order of service or a memorial. There might be additional costs depending on the type of funeral you choose, or what you require. You can find out additional costs by looking at Additional Options Price Lists on each branch's webpage.

Andrew, Gareth and the team at Pitcher & Le Quesne handled my mothers funeral perfectly. From the first point of contact to the day of her burial; they did everything to make the whole prosses as efficient and painless as was possible. Nothing was rushed and every consideration was given to any request. I couldn't have imagined a more dignified and respectful way to say farewell.

I contacted the company and spoke with Cherie, throughout the process, I had such a lovely experience, she made me feel completely at ease from the moment I arrived. She explained everything meticulously and went to extraordinary lengths to help our family when mum died. I was well looked after, sadly Cherie was on holiday the day of the funeral but Andrew Reynolds was available on the day and was as equally as helpful and extremely professional. Mum got a first class send off.

Thank you for making the experience such a positive one at a difficult time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pitcher & Le Quesne to anyone.

I cannot praise Pitcher and Le Quesne highly enough. Gareth exceeded our expectations in the sensitive handling of my father's funeral. At such a difficult time, his care, compassion, attentiveness and attention to detail was unmatched. On the day of the funeral, he had everything under control and managed everything in such a gentle way that we felt guided and safe. We gave Dad the send off he deserved and couldnt have done so with out Gareth and the team. I would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you
