Serving the Plymouth area

Our funeral directors in Plymouth are next to the Esso station and the dry cleaners, serving families right across the city. It is often the smallest things that bring the most comfort: a piece of music they loved, a favourite coat. You'll sit down with us when you're ready, tell us about the person you've lost, and take each decision in turn. Our Plymouth funeral directors are experienced and know the city's churches, chapels and crematoria well. Speak to our funeral home here and tell us what you have in mind.

Your local team can talk you through an attended funeral in Plymouth or an unattended funeral in Plymouth, and help you choose memorials in Plymouth when you feel ready. You can also see all our funeral directors in Devon.

How do funeral costs vary?

The cost of a funeral depends on what you need. We'll help you understand everything, so you can plan without any surprises.

Our prices include all the essentials

The prices you see on each branch's Price List are our lowest for each type of funeral. They include caring for the person who's died, a simple coffin, and the cremation or burial. We don't charge for the little touches like placing a rose on the coffin or playing music.

What affects the cost?

You can choose to add a personal touch, such as a unique coffin, flowers, your choice of transport, a printed order of service or a memorial. There might be additional costs depending on the type of funeral you choose, or what you require. You can find out additional costs by looking at Additional Options Price Lists on each branch's webpage.

It's hard to know what to say without being fulsome but the team at Earl's were simply outstanding in everything they did from our first contact through to the conclusion of my father's funeral. Kind, understanding and with so much patience in answering my questions, Sarah Brent and the rest of the staff were superb. They had empathy in spades and made things so easy. The service went like clockwork and hit the right note, a testament to the care they invested in our family. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you to everyone.

Both Terri and Sarah were incredibly supportive at a difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble, their knowledge and experience was invaluable.
