What families say about us

Everyone we had contact with here were genuinely compassionate, understanding and incredibly patient with myself and my siblings after mum passing away just before Christmas. We had some concerns with our experience at another funeral directors very local to Butlers which lead us to instigate conversations with Butlers. The moment we engaged with everyone at Butlers we instantly felt at ease, there was no pressure and they were extremely professional with a lovely touch of friendly empathy. A huge thank you to everyone at R Butler & Sons Funeral Directors in Hailsham. We could not have asked for a better service to help us say our final goodbye to our beautiful mum.

Thank you to Dawn and the team at R Butlers. They ensured everything was planned to my requirements, kept me informed during the arrangements, and prompted me ahead of time whenever I needed to action something. The day went faultlessly and I was confident the team would conduct their roles perfectly, allowing me to concentrate fully on the service.

Every small detail was perfect. They kept me informed, were kind and sympathetic and just wonderful. I have to recommend highly.
