What affects the cost?

You can choose to add a personal touch, such as a unique coffin, flowers, your choice of transport, a printed order of service or a memorial. There might be additional costs depending on the type of funeral you choose, or what you require. When we lost our mother, it was really hard to think of any arrangements; let alone funeral arrangements.

W CORNFORD & SON Funeral Directors were there to support us every step of the way. The respect and time and emotional support they provided was exceptional.

A Thank-You is not enough.

The Funeral Director was extremely professional, caring , friendly and talked us through everything.

We was able to take our time , which was much appreciated. Everything ran very smoothly and this was down to the Director and staff.

My family and I were very satisfied .

Denise made us very comfortable and put us at ease with the whole process.

Losing my mum is very hard and Denise and Funeral director were sensitive and compassionate.

Mum would have been very proud.

Losing my dad has been one of the hardest experiences of my life, but Cornford & Son gave our family a sense of peace we will always be grateful for.

Dad looked so peaceful, which brought me comfort when I needed it most. It meant everything to us that they arranged for the hearse and limousine to come to our home so we could bring him home one final time, especially for his dog. That level of understanding and care meant more than I can express.

From Denise’s kindness and reassurance in the office, to Adam leading the procession with such calm strength, and the unseen team working so respectfully behind the scenes — every detail was handled with grace and dignity.

They didn’t just organise a funeral; they gave our family peace on one of the hardest days of our lives. I will always be deeply grateful.
