F.E.J. Green & Sons have been used by my family for over 50 years & will never be used again!

The Area Manager, Amy & Natasha the Senior Funeral Director know all the reasons why I am appalled with their service.

From being given a member of staff to deal with the funeral arrangements who had already handed in their notice (David Bell), who clearly could not be bothered handing anything over to another member of staff, me having to chase to find out when you were going to collect my mum, then chasing again to see if you had collected her because David didn’t update me. Then I receive the final invoice with a bog standard letter from Amy with the “taking the greatest care & providing an exceptional service is the very essence of what we do”. You actually don’t! And knowing what I have been through you should have amended the letter accordingly.

Natasha telling me on the phone that I’m not the only family that David has completely messed up!

Getting a call from Natasha a week after the funeral, to ask how the funeral was, I gave my feedback. I then get another call from someone called Sam a few days later to ask me how the funeral was & when I told her I’d already given my feedback, to Natasha, I was told there were no notes so she didn’t know I’d already had a call & given feedback!. I’ve already been told as David has left the company there really isn’t anything they can do further!

The final joke of FEJ Greens attention to detail is the email I have been sent asking me for feedback, is signed by, guess who - David Bell, the same David Bell who has left the company!

An absolute disgrace of a funeral company who I will never recommend to anyone.

From the first contact Lyn was professional & could not do enough to assist us. In what was an awful loss Lynn walked us through the process gently, nothing was too much trouble. She made the whole difficult process easy to manage, making gentle suggestions. There was no stress with any of the arrangements, Lyn was the calm presence, working behind the scenes. The whole team from collecting our loved one to the funeral went seamless, even down to the colour of the ties the team wore on the day. Highly professional but a genuinely nice team of people that respect the job they do and the importance to the families. We cannot thank Lyn and the team enough for all they did.

Lynn and the team at Green's were all so caring and supportive, and showed our very elderly mum the utmost respect and compassion when saying goodbye to our Dad. Everything was very clearly explained to us and communication was great throughout the arrangements. On the day, we were supported by the funeral attendants with managing two wheelchairs for family members and treated with care and patience throughout. The celebrant, arranged by Greens was great. She went above and beyond in my view to support mum in putting together dad's life story for the service and delivered a warm and dignified service for dad. Green's were recommended to us, and exceeded our expectations.
