Thank you to Sue and everyone at Alden's Canvey Island for your support and help in arranging Mum's funeral.

Sue was so kind and understanding in accomodating our wishes.

We would also like to thank the Celebrant, Jackie King, as recommended by Sue, for her beautiful service at the chapel which made Mum's final farewell a memorable occasion.

Jane and Howard Ray.

We chose to engage Alden's after a previous positive experience with my grandfather's funeral arrangements.

From the moment we walked in, we were cared for with a grace and delicacy that one would expect in these times, but which we found particularly comforting.

Alden's made every aspect of the planning relaxed, thoughtful and accommodating. The planning options were considered well, and the introduction to the Celebrant was so on the nose we were shocked in the best of ways. When it came to visiting, which I did every day, all of the team were supportive and flexible. Sometimes I needed a chat and sometimes I needed silence, and they knew that the moment I walked in.

I have to give a special mention to Sue, who became beautifully intertwined with our experience. She was always offering a cup of tea, an ear, and I believe wholeheartedly the most supportive care possible to our loved one when we weren't there.

I fully endorse Sue and the team for their support and help in planning, the tenderness during visiting and on the day itself, which, while I panicked for the weeks before, was so perfect it took a weight off my shoulders.

Please consider Sue and the team for any of your funeral needs.
