I was very pleased to meet Janet at Francis Chappel. She was very kind and calm and helpful when I was dealing with my father’s funeral. She gave me excellent advice on the procedures of the funeral. I also spoke to and met Luke. He was also very kind and guided me through the day.

The whole process of a very sad day was dealt with in a very respectful way.

Thankyou for their kindness.

We have used Francis Chappell & Sons for our family funerals over many years, including for our Grandad, our Dad, and most recently our beloved Mum. On each occasion, they have provided a service that is both professional and deeply personal.

For our Mum’s funeral, Janet Ward guided us through the process with great care, dignity and attention to detail. Everything was handled smoothly and respectfully, while still feeling warm and friendly rather than impersonal or clinical.

The celebrant took the time to really understand our family and our Mum’s life, and the eulogy was exactly right, a fitting balance of reflection, celebration and love. It was a solemn occasion, but also a wonderful celebration of the life she lived.

We are extremely grateful to Janet and the whole team at Francis Chappell & Sons for helping us say goodbye in such a thoughtful and dignified way. We would not hesitate to recommend their services.
