Our prices include all the essentials

The prices you see on each branch's Price List are our lowest for each type of funeral. They include caring for the person who's died, a simple coffin, and the cremation or burial. We don't charge for the little touches like placing a rose on the coffin or playing music.

What affects the cost?

You can choose to add a personal touch, such as a unique coffin, flowers, your choice of transport, a printed order of service or a memorial. There might be additional costs depending on the type of funeral you choose, or what you require. My son Aidan died on 7th August 2026. He was only 43 years old. He had a partner and two children. From the moment he died I and my two daughters contacted Pete, the Funeral Director for his assistance and organising my son's funeral. We decided to have the Service at Greenacres, a beautiful forrest location near Rainford. Organising this ran smoothly and we were kept informed of everything we needed to do from Pete. We visited

Greenacres and discussed options for a scattering of ashes. The day of the funeral came and this was a beautiful moment for everyone at Greenacres. Everything was perfect and my sincere thanks to Pete and his Team for all the help he gave to me and my family. Gornell's Funerals is to be highly recommended.

The people here are amazing, they treated us with the upmost respect ,the whole planning was made so much easier with their calm and friendly approach to
