Our prices include all the essentials
The prices you see on each branch's Price List are our lowest for each type of funeral. They include caring for the person who's died, a simple coffin, and the cremation or burial. We don't charge for the little touches like placing a rose on the coffin or playing music.
What affects the cost?
You can choose to add a personal touch, such as a unique coffin, flowers, your choice of transport, a printed order of service or a memorial. There might be additional costs depending on the type of funeral you choose, or what you require. I have recently use Haxby’s in Filey (part of the dignity group).
I dealt with the manager Melvin he has been wonderful and very helpful.
I have had to deal with arrangements from afar but any issues I had Melvin helped to resolve them and has gone far beyond what I was expecting.
I had to organise the update on the headstone that was in situ on a family grave.
Melvin arranged collections of the headstone and taking it to a local stone mason.
Melvin has made the whole upsetting experience so much easy, I can honestly say the he has been an absolutely wonderful and helpful man.
I could not have done any of what we did without his understanding help and assistance.

So much care, support and guidance from all of the filey team. Very professional and understanding through a very upsetting and difficult time. My mum had a beautiful ceremony and the celebrant captured my mums life perfectly. I can't thank the team enough for everything they did for mum from start to finish.
