David your manager at your calne branch showed us true empathy he made things very easy for us re choosing my mums coffin, flowers etc. He explained what would happen on the day too. On the funeral day he was very professional and we couldn’t have got through the day without him, I would like to take this opportunity to thank John eye much he was watching out for me all the time as the ground in the churchyard was slippery he stopped me from falling a couple of times.

Good afternoon David

Just a quick e-mail to thank you and your staff for the truly wonderful Funeral you provided for Bill, it was perfect. So many highlights throughout the day, made me sad but also made me very happy.

I've received so many complimentary comments regarding the Funeral, you were all so respectful, caring, very supportive, funny at times, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for you or your team.

I remember the first time I met you, with Bill's daughter Julia, when we went through the process of selecting Bill's coffin, flowers, Order of Service etc you were so welcoming, made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Your professionalism shone through, as well as the more relaxed side of you, which made it so personal and friendly.

Honestly David I could not fault it and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to friends and family

I also remember visiting Bill in the Chapel of Rest on Wednesday 21st, I was given as much time as I needed, to see Bill and to say my last words and give him a kiss , which gave me such comfort. Bill looked so relaxed and at peace and I spent about 30 minutes reminiscing about our life together. Please pass on my gratitude and thanks to the Embalming Team, Bill looked like my Bill.

When I left the Chapel of Rest you were there in the lounge talking to my sister, we sat around a while just talking, you suggested a coffee house we could visit in Calne and I asked if I could see Bill one more time, you agreed instantly, I'm so very grateful for everything you did for Bill and the family. God Bless

I'm so very very happy I asked for Bill to be taken from home on Thursday, and to see the Hearse in the Close really touched my heart and definitely brought a lump to my throat. My sister Jacqueline thought the little lights shining down on Bill was truly beautiful.

When you all respectfully bowed to Bill before you led the Cortege down the Close was very moving with the neighbours lining the Close. Bill would have loved it.

Your team looked after us at all times, helped us in and out of cars, stopped traffic for us to cross the road into the Cemetery, respectfully moved to one side and bowed as I went to the back of the Hearse to place a kiss on Bill's coffin. When we arrived at the Church you guided us as to what/where we should go......and at the end of the Thanksgiving Service you collected the large photo of Bill and carried it, face forward, down the aisle. Thank you

You're a very professional young man with a sympathetic pleasant manner, polite, friendly and relaxed and very well presented

Apologies if I've forgotten to thank you for something but as far as I'm concerned it was a Perfect Day
