Would recommend Adam and his team to anyone. We lost my Dad back in September 2025, from that first phone call to even now they have been very professional, supportive and nothing is ever too much for them. Always there to answer any questions we had, supported the younger members of the family with books about death, never rushed us when we visited my Dad in the chapel of rest etc I could go on! After my Dad’s funeral, a couple of family members met with Cameron and took out funeral plans. Again really helpful and took a lot of pressure of us knowing that our funerals will be cared for by them. So glad we chose Adam and his team at John Stuart’s!

We cannot thank John Stuart Funeral Directors enough for the care, compassion and professionalism they showed our family following the recent passing of my Dad.

From the very first contact, they went above and beyond to make our difficult and emotional time as manageable and bearable as possible. Every aspect of the arrangements was handled with efficiency, professionalism and genuine care, which gave our family the support we needed.

In particular, Ben was absolutely amazing in every way. His communication was everything you could possibly need and want during such a sensitive time — thoughtful, considerate, compassionate, genuine, caring, patient, approachable, reassuring and kind. He was incredibly understanding and always ready and willing to answer any question we had, no matter how small or how many times we asked. He had a wonderful ability to put everyone at ease and made us feel that we were genuinely being looked after. He guided us through the process with kindness, dignity and respect.

Thank you for everything you did for our family and for giving Dad the farewell he deserved. We would recommend John Stuart Funeral Directors to anyone who finds themselves needing their services.

We recently had the privilege of having Ben help us through difficult funeral arrangements for our uncle and could not have been more impressed …we live in Australia and with Ben’s kindness , professionalism and compassion for his vocation, things were made easier and his thoughtfulness and understanding was evident in each and every communication he had with us .
