Yeatmans Funeral Directors, Poole

About our Poole funeral home
Founded by three brothers in 1886, our longstanding presence at the heart of the community has given us the necessary experience, passed down from one generation to the next, to ensure your loved one’s farewell runs smoothly and is a heartfelt and compassionate tribute to their life.
Your wellbeing matters to us and our team of funeral directors will not only help to ease any uncertainties you may have, but will also advise on any aspect of the funeral in order to deliver the ceremony you want.
Through kindness and integrity, we will ensure you and your loved one are well looked after while in our care. Whether it is a religious or humanist funeral, a traditional service or something a little more modern, such as a woodland burial, we will arrange a sincere farewell unique to your loved one’s memory.
For more than 130 years we have served the communities of Poole and the surrounding areas of Dorset, helping families of all religions and beliefs in their times of need. Our funeral home is located on Albert Road, in the Parkstone area, which allows us to provide funeral services to surrounding Branksmore, Longfleet, and Sterte, as well all other areas of Poole.
We are also easily accessible to surrounding towns and villages in the wider Dorset area, such as Broadstone, Corfe Mullen, Ferndown and Lychett Matravers.

Reviews of our services
In these difficult times of lock down, distances of the far flung family members, Yeatmans took everything into careful consideration producing a very thoughtful Order of Service along with an excellent Webcast of the service allowing many people to attend in spirit.
Even to sending us photographs of the floral tribute showing a particular request we had made, following up a few days later with a sprig from the tribute, the card we had requested they wrote on our behalf, the photograph of the departed that had been placed on the coffin, all contained in a memory box in which there was a folder of the same design as the Order of Service.
A very big thank you from Noreen and Ronnie
I was kept informed at all stages of the funeral preparation and on the day I was able to concentrate on my Mums goodbye without any worries at all. I would recommend Yeatmans Funeral Directors without hesitation.
It was so good just to make one phone call and have most of the funeral arrangements completed, just a small amount of personal details to be arranged.
All the staff were understanding, polite and very helpful, and most efficient. Thank you Dignity.
