How do funeral costs vary?

The cost of a funeral depends on what you need. We'll help you understand everything, so you can plan without any surprises.

Our prices include all the essentials

The prices you see on each branch's Price List are our lowest for each type of funeral. They include caring for the person who's died, a simple coffin, and the cremation or burial. We don't charge for the little touches like placing a rose on the coffin or playing music.

What affects the cost?

You can choose to add a personal touch, such as a unique coffin, flowers, your choice of transport, a printed order of service or a memorial. There might be additional costs depending on the type of funeral you choose, or what you require. You can find out additional costs by looking at Additional Options Price Lists on each branch's webpage.

Seaford and Newhaven funeral services handled our dads funeral with great respect and honour especially the touching thought that I was unaware of originally that he was entitled to having a standard bearer and a union flag on his coffin as dad served in national service ,thanks to Rob for mentioning. Laura was the first person that I met organising my dads service and she was throughout very caring and allowed me to take my time over our decisions for the service as at times I got quite emotional, she was just the sort of patient lady I needed at that difficult time..thank you all so much for making a difficult time a lot more bearable, see you soon when I collect dads ashes.

Nothing was to much trouble for them. Their advice was always kind and sympathetic and everything done to a high standard. I would recommend them as funeral directors
