My experience with E.H Crouch/ Powell Funeral Directors based in stevenage old town has been great, considering the circumstances. I was first spoken to by Wendy who took me through the initial paperwork. She was very kind and patient with me and explained everything that i needed to know. I then dealt with Nick as Wendy was poorly and he carried on the excellent service when it was time to collect my mum, he was very calming and helped put me at ease. Lastly i spoke to Perry( i hope i got your name right) for a follow up phone call and he also carried on from where Wendy and Nick left off. As a team i thought they were all impeccable, all very easy to talk to and even managed to make me smile at probably the worst time in my life. I would recommend this company and especially this team whole heartedly to anyone going through this difficult time.

On behalf of myself, my Mum and the rest of my family i would like to thank you so much for making this time as easy as possible.

We highly recommend Wendy & her team from Powell’s which was outstanding! Nothing was too much trouble for Wendy! Assisted us in preparation for the final goodbye to our Mum! We want to say a huge heartfelt thanks for the outstanding care, professionalism & the compassion you showed throughout the arrangements for our dear Mum’s funeral. During a difficult & emotional time, your kindness & attention to every detail gave us such great comfort & reassurance. Wendy a fountain of knowledge & the service you provided gave Mum the best, most beautiful farewell she deserved. We are truly grateful for the dignity, respect & care in which you treated both Mum & us as a family. Thank you Wendy for everything you did for us, your dedication, empathy & professionalism will never be forgotten.

Thank you To Perry, Eric, John & Crystal, all were amazing on the day! ♥️ Thank you for your input & changes to the Order of Service! 🥰
