From the start, Melvin and his team at Haxby’s, Filey never ceased to impress me with their friendly and efficient professional approach which was designed to remove any fear of the unknown and reassure us that everything concerning Mum’s funeral was going to be carefully and thoroughly arranged - and it was the same on the day, letting the family concentrate on what was important, whilst taking care of all the practical details to an exemplary level.

I have pleasure in wholeheartedly recommending A Haxby & Sons.

From the initial call to A Haxby & Sons on the death of my mum, the whole team showed immense care, respect and empathy.

Melvin guided me expertly through every decision and all the arrangements were handled with kindness, precision and professionalism.

A few adjustments to the traditional order of events were organised easily by the team and nothing was too much trouble.

On the day of the funeral everything ran smoothly, and personal touches were noted with thanks. I am grateful for the exceptional care shown by A Haxby & Sons and would wholeheartedly recommend their services.
