The cost of a funeral depends on what you need. We'll help you understand everything, so you can plan without any surprises.

Our prices include all the essentials

The prices you see on each branch's Price List are our lowest for each type of funeral. They include caring for the person who's died, a simple coffin, and the cremation or burial. We don't charge for the little touches like placing a rose on the coffin or playing music.

What affects the cost?

You can choose to add a personal touch, such as a unique coffin, flowers, your choice of transport, a printed order of service or a memorial. There might be additional costs depending on the type of funeral you choose, or what you require. Portland Funeral Directors made the planning of my wife’s funeral straight forward. Alan guided us through the process with dignity and compassion helping us to make informed decisions as to what we should do with all aspects of the ceremony. They put us in touch with an excellent celebrant in Sandy Gibson who was patient with our recalling memories of my wife and her life that sometimes we had forgot. couldnt ask for better service keith was so caring and it came from the heart and that helped me so much to know my boy was being looked after with dignity and care nothing was to much for them they done everything to try help me through the process i cant thank keith enough for his heart felt care it helped as much as it could to know my boy was being handled with care and was safe so glad i picked this parlour as my sons final resting place before i said goodbye to him for now there isnt anything they wouldnt do to help you through the care and love they show is straight from the heart its not just a job to them they are deticated i cant thank keith enough for his support through the whole process knowing my boy was safe made it so much easier on me thanks to the whole team but expecially keith im so glad i picked this parlour as my sons final resting place he definally was handled with care and love thank you all for your support at such a difficult time means the world to m would recommend this parlour if you ever find yourself in this difficult situation you wont find any better anywhere from a heartbroken mother x
