Our prices include all the essentials
The prices you see on each branch's Price List are our lowest for each type of funeral. They include caring for the person who's died, a simple coffin, and the cremation or burial. We don't charge for the little touches like placing a rose on the coffin or playing music.
What affects the cost?
You can choose to add a personal touch, such as a unique coffin, flowers, your choice of transport, a printed order of service or a memorial. There might be additional costs depending on the type of funeral you choose, or what you require. I really cannot stress the support I got at W Thorp at such a difficult time. Helen was always very empathetic and sensitive to my needs. I always felt at ease when discussing matters. She sent a small gift for the funeral which was a nice personal touch.

Helen was incredibly kind and helpful, guiding us through every step of the process and making a difficult time much easier for our family. Every detail was taken care of. The black horses, carriage and flowers were beautiful.
Jay, the Celebrant they recommended was superb and helped create a fitting tribute to our much-loved Dad.
