We were faced with tricky funeral arrangements, insofar as our dear mum had to be moved from Stoke Mandeville to the Isle of Wight for burial.

Have to say the mainland funeral directors were..... underwhelming, but once Louise (and Andy) at Downer and White became involved, all the problems seemed to melt away

Even when faced with local issues such as a horrible council foul up and a distinct lack of available clergy, she went so above and beyond what we could have expected, that we can never repay her

You only get one chance to get things right regarding a funeral, and thanks to Louise Nicholls and the team, we can at least have good memories of the day we laid our mum to rest 10/10

My sister and I would like to say it was the most professional, kind, smooth experience anybody could wish for.

I am full of praise for Downer & White Funeral Directors. Tony Knox, who was responsible for organising my mother's funeral, did an excellent job. Thanks to his sterling efforts, the funeral was brought forward to an acceptable date. Many thanks and all the best for the future to Tony, Andy and Louise. :-)
