How do funeral costs vary?

The cost of a funeral depends on what you need. We'll help you understand everything, so you can plan without any surprises.

Our prices include all the essentials

The prices you see on each branch's Price List are our lowest for each type of funeral. They include caring for the person who's died, a simple coffin, and the cremation or burial. We don't charge for the little touches like placing a rose on the coffin or playing music.

What affects the cost?

You can choose to add a personal touch, such as a unique coffin, flowers, your choice of transport, a printed order of service or a memorial. There might be additional costs depending on the type of funeral you choose, or what you require. You can find out additional costs by looking at Additional Options Price Lists on each branch's webpage.

I had no problems at all with Langshaw.

They organised and accommodated us with ease and comfort.

All request were met with "no problem" and their was nothing that they wouldn't do for me.

My thanks for all you did, especially Fleur who was the front and main contact, again my thanks

Langshaw Calverley Funeral Directors were professional, efficient and considerate. However, I was not impressed with The Dignity Group.

Less than a week after my husband's funeral service had taken place, I received a sales call from Dignity to ask if I had a Funeral Plan with them and if I would like to attend an Open Day with a view to taking out a plan. I consider that this was an incredibly insensitive and unprofessional and extremely rude at such an upsetting time.

Very poor communication, this funeral was arranged to be as close to my brother's wishes as possible. I was very grateful that I was able to say my goodbye close to my home but disappointed I was never given a cremation date. Is that too much to expect!
