Serving the Chester area

Our funeral directors in Chester work from two J C Clarke funeral homes, one of them at the foot of Hoole Bridge. However you choose to say goodbye, the same care goes into every part of it. You'll sit down with us when you're ready, tell us about the person you've lost, and take the decisions one at a time. Our Chester funeral directors are experienced and know the city's churches, chapels and crematorium well. Speak to one of our funeral homes here and tell us what you'd like.

How much does a funeral cost?

The cost of a funeral depends on what you need. You can choose to add a personal touch, such as a unique coffin, flowers, your choice of transport, a printed order of service or a memorial. We'll help you understand everything, so you can plan without any surprises.

There might be additional costs depending on the type of funeral you choose, or what you require. You can find out additional costs by looking at Additional Options Price Lists on each branch's webpage. We don't charge for the little touches like placing a rose on the coffin or playing music.

Your local funeral director will be able to talk you through your options and give you an idea of costs.
