I have just lost my wife after 60years together and had a Dignity funeral plan for her..
Its a good product without doubt but what lets the company down is the funeral planner
They are basically no more than sales reps for the company. They say do you want this or that, all I want is empathy and a little sympathy in a time of grief, they just sit there offering nothing apart from do you want embalming at an extra £225,not good enough more customer service training needed please

We cannot fault Bakers in any way at all.
They dealt with our Dads funeral back in 2007 and they were all so kind, caring and took the worry/concerns away from us and left us feeling reassured and respected.
Mum passed away 2023 and we were absolutely devastated, it was such a quick passing. Obviously we contacted Bakers and spoke to lovely Gill ( dealt with Dads funeral)
She remembered Mum from Dads funeral so it felt very personal and it was like dealing with a close friend through the whole process.
Myself and sister visited our Mum everyday at Bakers for 4 weeks and saw Gill every time and that was so reassuring and she always checked on Mum and said “ Yep, Mum still looks amazing, go on in” and we did, and she did.
I want to personally thank Gill, Luke and the rest of the team for your kindness, support and for all the hugs you gave us but more than anything, for looking after our wonderful Mum whilst she was in your care.
We are forever grateful for everything you did for us and our Dad & Mum
