Reviews of our services
My father was cremated on Monday 19th October 2020 at Salisbury Crematorium. The event was organised by John Shering Funeral Directors of Fordingbridge Hampshire and more precisely John Firth the Business Manager.
I would simply like to put on record that the whole experience was made as palatable as it could have been in the circumstance by the professionalism shown in particular by John Firth. His interpersonal skills were second to none in the way he dealt with my elderly mother and myself. He explained all the issues at hand, offered expert advice and guided us through a difficult time. The manner of his communication was calm, informative but above all compassionate. He assisted in the order of service, flowers and my fathers property.
Second to this was the excellent service provided by the funeral car drivers and pallbearers. Throughout the journey we felt confident and comforted by the professionalism of the officers.
If there is an appraisal recognition system within your company please may this email be placed on file for their benefit.
Thank you
Neil Conley
My mother had bought a funeral plan through Dignity (Age UK) and named a firm of undertakers that were local to her but not to me. When I telephoned them to inform them of her passing they offered to transfer the business over to John Shering, who are local to me, straight away, I did not have to ask.
We would thoroughly recommend this caring and professional company.
