Passed away on 1st August 2024 aged 88 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Barbara, and wonderful Father of Julie, David, Emma and Alan. Also a loving Grandad, Great Grandad, Brother and Uncle.
Alan was born to Robert and Annie Richardson who had 9 children. After school, he completed his national service and started a career as a joiner. In 1963 he married Barbara (Babs) and they had 4 lovely children. At the time of his passing, he had 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
His main passions in life included Babs, his family, table tennis and crown green bowling. Through his work and hobbies, he became friends with many people in the area and was well known.
Alan will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
