Professor Geoff Easton passed away peacefully at home on Sunday 5th March 2023, aged 79 and surrounded by love.
Geoff was a devoted husband to Helen; the best possible dad to Jonathan, George and David; a wonderful father-in-law to Helen and Rachel; big brother to Viv and Peter; and an adoring, fun (and occasionally silly) grandpa to Oscar, Toby, Naomi, Alexander and Freya. But Geoff was more than that: he was an inspirational academic, mentor and loyal friend to the many people whose lives he touched.
Geoff will be buried next to George at Scotforth Cemetery at 2pm on 31st March 2023, followed by a celebration of his life at Lancaster University Chaplaincy Centre at 3pm. There will be refreshments provided at Lancaster House Hotel afterwards.
