It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beryl Mary Hay aged 85, who left us on Tuesday, 18th June, after a brave battle with cancer. Beryl was a beacon of love and strength to her family and friends, and her memory will forever be cherished.
Beryl was the beloved wife of Norman, with whom she shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Dellanie, Anthony, and Michael, always providing them unwavering support and love. Beryl was also a cherished mother in law to Alex, Lisa and Carolyn, who will forever remember her kindness and loving support. Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, Laura, Charlotte, Emily, Sophie, Heather, and Aimie, who will miss her dearly. Beryl was also a proud great-grandmother to Elsie, Freddie, Poppy, Olivia, Stanley, and Arthur, whose lives she touched with warmth and kindness.
Beryl's life was marked by her dedication to her family, always putting them first. She had a remarkable ability to make all her family feel special and loved. Her love, kindness, and resilience legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A funeral service to honour Beryl's life will be held on 8th July at 12pm at Gedling Crematorium. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and pay their respects.
Family flowers only please. The family requests that donations be made to Nottinghamshire Hospice in Beryl's memory, who supported the family in her final days at home.
Beryl Mary Hay will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones. May she rest in peace.
