As you are now all aware, our dear wonderful mum, Eileen passed away in the early hours of the morning of Saturday 20th January and we would like to ask you to join us to help celebrate her life - a life that was full and well lived.
The Funeral will be held at 3.20 pm on Thursday 22nd February 2024, at North East Surrey Crematorium and afterwards back at The Price of Wales, 28 Malden Raod, Cheam Village, Sutton, Surrey SM3 8QF, for those that wish to commemorate Eileen's memory in a more relaxed atmosphere. Directions to the crematorium are in the link on this site.
Please do not feel you need to wear formal black to the funeral, smart dress and colours are fine.
We are leaving the choice of flowers or a charity up to you. If you would like to send flowers the details are on this site along with a link to make donations to the Cancer Research UK charity, if you prefer to do that. There will also be a donation box on the day at the Prince of Wales. We appreciate times are hard, and if you cannot do either, having you there on the day to celebrate her life will be what Eileen would have wanted and enjoyed most.
Please feel free to bring along any photos of Eileen, we know there must be plenty out there.
Whilst this is a very sad occasion, Eileen had a wonderful life largely doing what she wanted - so we will be hoping for a few laughs, stories and drinks to remember her by.
