Malcolm McCluskey, aged 82, passed away peacefully on June 20th, 2024. He leaves behind his loving family: his son Paul, his daughter Nicky, along with Sherry, Jill, and his lovely granddaughter Molly.
Malcolm began his career at the family Dairy in Ayrshire, where he made significant contributions to the community. His passion for planes eventually led him and his family south, where he became a cherished member of the Gatwick community for over 30 years. Malcolm's warmth, kindness, and dedication to his work made him a beloved figure in Gatwick, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Malcolm’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone for the numerous messages of condolence and support during this difficult time. The void left by Malcolm’s passing is immense, but his children strive to continue making him proud, honouring his legacy and the love he shared with them.
The details of the funeral service can be found further down this page, including a map. Please note there is limited parking at the church, there are town centre car parks within a 5min walk of the Church.
Details for the Celebration of Life event will be within the Order of Service, Paul & Nicky welcome all their Dad’s friends to join them.
Malcolm was an avid supporter of the RNLI his entire life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations so we can make a donation to RNLI in Malcolm’s name. This will include getting Malcolm’s name added to a new Lifeboat (we know Dad would have loved that idea).
The collection box plus QR code will be available at the Celebration of Life.
