Alan Chamberlain sadly died unexpectedly on holiday on 20th September 2021, Aged 78. He was widely known in the snooker world, having been one of the sport’s leading referees for nearly 30 years. Alan will be greatly missed by his loving wife Teddy, his daughter Mandy and son Malcolm, their families including Alan’s four grandchildren, and many other people who knew and loved him. Our hope is that the funeral service can be both a celebration of Alan’s life and an opportunity for those able to attend to say their goodbyes and entrust him to God’s loving embrace. Alan died of a heart-related condition, and so if you feel able please do make a donation to the British Heart Foundation using the above link.
