It is with more sadness than words can say that we announce the sudden death at home of Mandy Grace (nee Wainwright) on Sunday 21st January 2024. Nana to six fantastic grandchildren, Mum to four wonderful grown-up children and their partners, and Mandy to Paul, who made the best decision ever when he asked her to marry him just over 40 years ago. A dreadful accident whilst alone at home requiring the Coroner’s Office as a matter of procedure – hence the delay.
As for the funeral? Mandy won’t be pleased if you send flowers. But she was a long-time supporter of Cancer Research UK. So, if you wish to send anything (and you really don’t have to do anything at all) please consider a donation to her chosen charity. As for all of us? A gentle-loving-sad-happy hug would be very welcome. Thank you.
Details of the funeral, wake and timings are below. And if you are coming, Mandy wasn't a fan of black (did we mention flowers already) for these things. So please wear whatever makes you comfortable just as we will.
