Frank sadly passed away at his home with his wife Kerry and his family by his side after a long illness. Frank was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis 9 years ago and given 3 to 5 years to live, he defied the odds and also managed to survive lymphoma during this time. Eventually being cancer free for 5 years he was able to be considered for a lung transplant earlier this year and it was during this testing that he was dealt the terrible blow that the lymphoma had returned and that he had a matter of weeks to live. Frank being Frank he battled on with strength, courage and determination to have has long as he could with his family and we are all so very proud of his achievement lasting 8 months.
Frank will be missed by all who knew him. He was a much loved Husband, Dad, Grandad, Brother, Uncle and friend.
