Ray passed away peacefully on 23rd May following a long journey with Vascular Dementia which has been devastating for Ray of course, but also for Hayley, Sam, Tom, Tash, Paul, Katie & Dan. We are comforted that Ray is no longer constrained by the restrictions which his dementia placed on him.
We welcome everyone who loved Ray to a Celebration of Life on 7th June at 11 am at St Peter & St Paul's church - details below.
Ray loved to be with people and so we would love for you to share your memories of good times with Ray, following the Celebration of Life, at the Cross Keys, Cranfield.
Please wear whatever is comfortable for you - Ray loved bright colours and so "his girls" will be respecting that in their choice of outfit.
Prior to the Celebration of Life, we will hold a private family farewell at 10 am at Norse Road Crematorium, Bedford to which family are invited - please contact Hayley, Tash or Sam if you would like to attend our family farewell - otherwise we will see you at Ray's Celebration of Life at the church.
Ray was generous and kind, and prior to the dementia taking hold, he was insistent that he wanted only family flowers and that donations should be made to charity; it's only fitting that we have chosen the Alzheimers society.
We look forward to celebrating Ray's life with you on 7th June.
