Loving Mum to Jen and Kate, Nan/Nannie to Chloe, Mollie, Emily and Kieran, Mother in law to Phil and Martin, life long companion to Ron, Sister to Julie, like a sister to Pauline, relative to all her family and a special friend to many.

Jen and Kate are eternally grateful for the friends Carol had whilst they were growing up, Jackie & George, Carol & Alan H, Sue & Steve, Angela & Dave, Carol & Alan L.

It is with a very heavy heart we would like to inform people that our lovely Mum, Carol Williams, gained her angel wings on Sunday 28.07.2024


7 months ago we were told she had non curable Acute Myeloid leukaemia. 

To the medical staff who became like friends and who respected her dignity and pride, thank you.

Doctors and staff at the village surgery, especially Dr Brettall, Dr Moss her haematology consultant, Gemma her specialist cancer nurse, the staff at the MDU, various special staff at the hospital, the district nurses, especially Claire, Laura, Julia and Ruth the hospice staff, Maureen, Emma, Laura and Christiana our night sitter, thank you. We will never forget you. 

We will miss you all as you became our friends too.

To all the people who helped her to get to her appointments and kept her smiling, especially Susie and Steve Hughes and Carol and Alan Lawler. 

Anyone who knew our lovely Mum I'm sure will be hurting right now. 

Queenscourt hospice have supported us as a family during the last week.
