From choosing your Funeral Director and dealing with paperwork, to organising the service and transport arrangements, everything in the Funeral Plan will have been taken care of when the time does eventually come.

Our online journey allows you to make a record of your preferences for the service itself, whether this includes any special readings, music or flowers you'd like. You can add in as much or as little detail as you wish.
All services provided by a Dignity Funeral Director are guaranteed, as well as the cremation fee and for burial, the interment fee. There are a number of elements you can include as part of your Funeral Plan that you may want to leave a monetary contribution towards. As an example you can contribute £100 towards the costs of flowers and when the plan is actioned the person arranging the funeral will have £100 plus any increase in line with CPI (Consumer Price Index) inflation towards the cost. We cannot guarantee that the contribution made will cover the full cost of the flowers and any difference will need to be paid at the time of the funeral. However, we will guarantee that the money you contribute now plus CPI will be available at the time of need.
You can create a plan with Dignity via our online platform, in selected branches or over the phone with one of our experienced team members.
You can choose from a variety of options to create your perfect day but if there’s something you want that doesn’t come as standard, we give you the ability to leave instructions and monetary contributions for the things that will make your day unique.
You can pay for your Dignity Funeral Plan upfront or you can spread the cost over 5 years (so long as this doesn’t take you past your 85th birthday). You won’t pay any additional administration fees for spreading the cost of your plan.
Soon, you'll be able to buy a plan for youself or on behalf of your partner or a family member.
The money you pay for a plan is placed in The UK Funerals (2022) Trust, which is an independent trust. The trustees ensure the money is prudently managed and we will also guarantee to add funds to the trust to ensure it is always fully funded.
Our commitment to delivering fair value to our customers means that the price of your Funeral Plan is no more than you'd be expected to pay for the same core elements of a funeral at today's prices.
Additionally, your money may also be protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme if we cannot meet our obligations.
