Application Journey

We believe that the application journey should be a simple one. Here’s how we do it:

  1. All our vacancies start off with an application. We will ask you some simple questions, such as where you live, desired salary and right to work in the UK.

As a team we’re always looking to strengthen diversity at Dignity, to do this we’ll ask you questions about your personal characteristics. Sharing this information is optional; however, by sharing it you can help us to ensure that that our processes promote diversity and inclusion.

All of our Resourcing Team are trained in Unconscious Bias and we do not share or view any of your personal information when assessing your application.

  2. Our Resourcing Team will assess your application against the role criteria, so it is important that you send an up-to-date CV. We really love reading cover letters, so please use the opportunity to showcase your skills and why you want to join us!

Don’t be surprised when we give you a call – our recruiters want to get to know you better and give you a chance to ask as many questions as you would like about the roles here.

  3. Your interview will be directly with your new line managers and may take a few stages to complete. Face to face or over a video link, we will take you through a structured selection process usually consisting of an interview.

  4. If you are offered a role with us, we do need to go through several checks with you as part of our onboarding procedures.

Due to the sensitive nature of our business, we always complete a basic DBS check and we will need to obtain satisfactory references from your previous employers.

Starting a new job can be a daunting process but rest assured we will be you every step of the way
