Personalised memorials

Memorials come in all shapes and sizes, from the more traditional plaques, stones and vases to living memorials such as trees, plants and memorial gardens. Our funeral directors have helped to arrange and advise on several different memorial ideas, some of which have been particularly memorable.

“On the request of the family, we arranged to have the cremation ashes scattered in a very unusual way - by putting them into a firework. The family was delighted. It’s possible to have just one firework, to set off as part of a memorial ceremony, or a whole professional display.”

“I was very privileged to arrange and conduct the funeral of a friend’s Mum. They had a request for a hand-cast to be made, but they wanted their Mum's hand to clasp with their Dad's. The family had arranged for a company to meet them at our funeral home so we had to make sure we had everything in place before the mould was made. It was a little tricky, but, by taking our time, the family had an everlasting memorial.”
